The shadow of Bardot: How insecurity led to one of the horniest duets of all time
Controversial.

Brigitte Bardot is a French former actor, singer, model and animal rights activist who became one of the defining cultural icons of the 1950s and 1960s.
Rising to international fame with And God Created Woman (1956), Bardot helped transform European cinema with her naturalistic performances, glamour and screen presence. She starred in more than 45 films before retiring from acting in 1973 to devote herself to animal welfare.
Through the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, she has campaigned extensively for animal rights around the world. Her influence on fashion, cinema and popular culture has made her one of the most recognisable figures in French film history.
Bardot was charged with inciting racial hatred on five occasions.
Her funeral took place on January 7th.
Roan said she was unaware of Bardot’s controversies.
An unforgettable film…
