Abbey Road is the eleventh studio album by The Beatles, released on September 26th, 1969.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest albums in music history, it was the last album recorded by the band, showcasing their creative peak through sophisticated songwriting, innovative production and iconic performances. Produced by George Martin, Abbey Road features timeless classics including ‘Come Together’, ‘Something’, ‘Here Comes the Sun’ and the celebrated side-two medley. Its legendary cover photograph, depicting the four Beatles crossing a zebra crossing outside EMI Studios in London, has become one of the most recognisable images in popular culture.
The exhibition is open on January 13th.
